Deck the Halls

We’ve been busy decking the halls, walls and everything else at both Sammy’s locations! Our popular Della Robia wreaths have arrived. Available in candle ring, medium 22" and large 30" sizes, each unique wreath is handmade by Sammy’s Flowers. We have classic holiday plants including poinsettias, amaryllis, paperwhites and a selection of living evergreen trees perfect for decorating your home. And don’t forget your holiday cut tree — chose from a variety of full stately nobles or its hipster cousin the lodgepole pine. Stop by either location and load up on some holiday cheer!

Perfect for your dining table is the seasonal long, low arrangement. (single $75 or
large double $150) For your buffet table or breakfast bar, choose a seasonal medium height.
($60-$85) A small low arrangement ($35-45) is lovely for a side table or hostess gift.
And of course, we can create something custom to fit your specific needs or budget.

Autumn wedding color

Personal flowers for a perfect autumn wedding. Shown here are the bridal bouquet, boutonniere, and floral head wreath in rich fall hues. Mango calla lilies, Leonidas sweetheart roses, orange spray roses, agonis, bumble bees, hydrangea, millet along with assorted pods and berries make this lush combination.

Fall branches and accents

Fall brings us the opportunity to work with fabulous autumn leaves and branches to create fun, seasonal arrangements. Autumnal foliages such as pin oak, ninebark, magnolia, viburnum, and smokebush add great seasonal color. Branches and berries round out the color selection: bittersweet vine, manzanita, dogwood, huck, ilex and witchhazel are are fall favorites. Shown above are two tall statement arrangements that are striking examples utilizing fall branches and accents.

About flowers: Pansy Orchids

There are quite literally thousands of orchid varieties. Just one of our favorite orchids is the Miltoniopsis, aka Pansy orchid. Multi stemmed and multi bloomed, the Pansy orchid provides a great pop of color. The Pansy orchid prefers to be moist, so water when its soil is starting to dry. If the orchid leaves develop wrinkles or striations, this means it's dehydrated and requires more water. Like most orchids, this one prefers indirect, bright light and warm daytime temperatures.

Sending love with roses

Large and lovely autumn dome shaped rose arrangements. The top design contains three dozen sweetheart roses in peach, pink and orange creating a lush medium sized arrangement. The second picture shows a large mixture of standard and piano garden roses with poppy pods and geranium leaf. 

And finally, shown below are a mixture of five dozen standard roses that create a very big statement!

Autumn Wedding

Loaded with texture, these bouquets have both garden and woodland favorites in their mix. Hydrangea, garden roses, lisianthus and dahlias make a lovely combination with grasses, pods, fern curls, and fern leaf. Shown here are the bridesmaid and bridal bouquet (top), along with (below) the corsage, boutonniere and groom's boutonniere.
