Succulent boutonnieres

Succulent boutonnieres are adorable. We made these recently for a wedding, and just had to share them! Shown here with simple accents of eryngium and angel vine.

Summer wedding color

Colorful personal flowers from a recent summer wine country wedding. Shown above are the bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquet, pin-on corsage, wrist corsage and boutonniere. Flowers used are green hydrangea, orange standard and spray roses, celosia, ranunculus, white freesia, white lisanthus, scabiosa pods, green hypericum berry and a touch of curly willow.

Color study: blues and greens

Soothing and cool, a mixture of blues and greens are perfect for a hot summer day. And even cooler, accents of icy white finish the look. Thankfully, summer brings us a greater selection of blues flowers to choose from. Our favorites include delphinium and scabiosa (shown above) as well as agapanthus, echinops, eryngium, and bachelor's buttons.

Winter Wedding with succulents

It's not just Sammy’s that loves succulents, many of our brides do, too! Above are some shop pictures of a recent winter wedding with succulent bouquets and boutonnieres. Additional texture is added to the bouquets with seeded eucalyptus, queen anne’s lace, brunnia and pure white cotton plumes. The combination creates a beautiful winter palette with a surprising twist!

Hanging succulent terrariums

Continuing our fascination with all things succulent, these hanging glass orbs make cute mini terrariums. Fun (and a little challenging to create), their care is so so easy!
